An Exterior Graphic Annunciator is an Annunciator, which is mounted outside, and is most often used for applications that have a campus layout, such as apartment buildings and schools/colleges. The Exterior Graphic Annunciator can show the Fire Alarm device location, within the floor layout, or it can have one general alarm Led in each building, as is the case in a campus situation. In the campus situation, the fire truck would pull up aside the Annunciator, and know which building is in alarm, as well as how to quickly locate the building.
Kirkland specializes in Fire Alarm Graphic Design, having an exceptional drafting department, and Graphic Display methods, that allow for a clear, concise illustration of the layout, including using full color graphics. There is no additional charge for colors utilized in the display, with unlimited colors to choose from. Our Exterior Annunciator display is either a brushed silver aluminum product, or white, and the image is printed with our high resolution, large format printer. We use silkscreen inks, which are cured, and therefore are able to withstand varying weather conditions.
Boxes: #16 Gauge Steel with a Black Textured Finish (Standard).
Door: #16 Gauge Stainless Steel with a #4 Horizontal Brush.
Hinge: Concealed Stainless Steel located on the left side.
Fastener: (5) # 8/32 stainless steel screws, or optional: (5) tamperproof stainless steel screws, includes driver

The annunciator enclosure shall be constructed of cold rolled steel with welded and ground seams and finished with an exterior powder paint The door shall be constructed of brushed stainless steel with a concealed stainless steel hinge. The door will have a gasketed minimum 3/16″ polycarbonate viewing pane. A minimum of (5) stainless steel screws shall fasten the door against the box gasket. Tamperproof head screws shall be used where required. Ventilation of the interior must be provided. The display shall be silkscreened on an anodized aluminum face with UV protection paints. Alarm LEDs shall have a brightness minimum of 600mcd. and be visible in full sunlight. Where required, a Nema 4 key operated Lamptest Switch shall be provided. The annunciator shall be UL listed and CSFM listed (in California). These listings shall be for a complete annunciator unit. The annunciator shall be manufactured by the H.R. Kirkland Company, Inc.
